Corinne und ich haben ein cooles Wochenende in Heidelberg mit Freunden verbracht. Anlass war Caros Geburtstag welcher man ideal mit dem "Heidelberger Herbst"-Fest verbinden konnte. Einquartiert waren wir in der Residenz Heidelberg. Was Tiptop. We had breakfast at the uncle of Anja, a stone's throw from the hotel. Friday night Chris, Lena, Domi, Anja, Co and I were able to spontaneously grab the last table at Vetters and had a delicious meal there. Afterwards, we continued into the alleys of Heidelberg, passing (with stops in between) Melonenschnapps and the Sonderbar until we reached Zieglers for one/two "nightcaps".

Heidelberg turned out to be the ideal shopping mile on Saturday: plenty of choice within walking distance - even with my bruised knee. After stowing the loot in the hotel, we went in the evening to the Heidelberg Autumn where Sandy, Eric and Linda joined us. Many booths in the narrow streets and so many people that you could not escape the pull of the masses. Flowing along was the motto. And every now and then to grab something to drink or to eat at the edge. Meters of melon schnapps, vodka soda and fire sausages to mention just a few highlights.

Last but not least we went back to the Ziegler but this time to the club to "shake". It was really fun. Heidelberg we come again.
